Community Service

Coursey Station Coursey Station is a Catholic Charities Senior Community offering rent-assisted housing for seniors and disabled persons. It is located in Lansdowne, Maryland, catty-corner to Sisters Academy. Once a month our sixth graders walk across the street and enjoy fellowship with the residents – often with a small program of entertainment or crafts.

Paul’s Place For over 30 years Paul’s Place has offered more than a dozen services and programs to low-income individuals and families in the Washington Village/Pigtown community of Baltimore, Maryland. It started as a soup kitchen, but over time has expanded its mission to provide many other social services aimed at improving the quality of life in the Washington Village/Pigtown neighborhood and the surrounding Southwest Baltimore communities. Once a month our seventh graders help serve the guests at Paul’s Place at lunchtime.

Beans and Bread Beans and Bread is a ministry of St. Vincent de Paul in Baltimore. It is a homeless day resource program that serves 300 people daily with meals, healthcare, showers, laundry, employment services, housing referrals, mail receipt, and phone access. Monthly, our students spend several hours helping with meal services and whatever else needs needs to be done.
